palabrasdemar is a language studio rooted in communication, identity, and meaning. It was created as a space to approach language not only as a tool, but as a way of connecting with others and with ourselves.

The name comes from a play on words, inspired by the idea of language as something fluid: words that move, connect, and shape meaning, like the sea. It is also inspired by Mar, a personal nickname.

Hola, I’m Mary Orozco, creator and director. I’ve been teaching Spanish since 2016, and I love sharing my language, my culture, and everything that makes Spanish feel alive and human. This studio reflects the way I teach: with care, intention, and respect for each learner’s goals and rhythm.
